Iran is prepared to restart atomic talks with Washington on condition that it is approached with "respect" and "honor", Tehran's top diplomat has declared.

The Iranian diplomat declared only diplomacy worked, and shared recent overtures had been made by go-betweens to restart discussions with the American leadership. He asserted Iran did not have unreported enrichment locations, and Iran had not yet reached a point to permit the global atomic watchdog to access attacked atomic facilities for security reasons.

Navigating a Difficult Route

The foreign minister is treading a complex route since Iran does not want appear to be acting from a position of disadvantage, and he insisted repeatedly that Iran had arisen more powerful defensively and emotionally from the coordinated strike on its atomic facilities in June.

The prior phases of talks between the US and Iran were brought to an abrupt and acrimonious termination on 12 June when Israel, with US support, targeted Iranian nuclear sites in a two-week conflict that concluded with the American leader claiming the facilities had been eliminated. Afterward, EU nations employed their authority to restore UN-wide sanctions, but Iran asserts they have not had a substantial consequence.

Magic Solution Offered

Iranian officials claimed they felt they had attained a "magic solution" to the uranium processing matter in prior discussions, when it was decided an domestic cooperative with US participation could enrich uranium. Both sides would have been able to assert triumph since home-based processing would have remained and the US could be certain that Iran's atomic project was exclusively peaceful.

It had not been decided in the talks that Washington's technical specialists could work within Iranian territory, but that was a logical implication of the cooperative offer. Officials stated three times they had secured an understanding with Trump's special envoy the American negotiator only for the deal to disintegrate due to "spoilers in Washington".

Present Situation

Diplomacy Stays the Final Resolution

The foreign minister stated: "It was not Iran that had deserted negotiations; it was America and the European states that had consistently sought to impose their demands during the negotiations. Negotiations can still be alive and continues the final solution to settle conflicts, but its requirements, regulations and principles must be respected."

"Provided that they address to the citizens of Tehran with the tone of dignity and respect, they will obtain a response in the same tone."

Repair and Rebuilding

In what is characterized by Iran's diplomats as the conflict of recovery and rebuilding, Araghchi claimed he was assured Iran's security strengths "have significantly improved than preceding 13 or 14 June of this year. Our entire military infrastructure have been rebuilt. We acquired numerous insights from this engagement; we have come to know our personal limitations and the weaknesses of the enemy."

He stated: "We effectively endured this engagement. Our nuclear technology, which they intended to obliterate, remains in place. The facilities and machinery, if eliminated, will be reconstructed; what is important is the resolve of the nation of Iran and then the unity of the country that they sought to undermine, but failed to break. The nation of Iran have become more powerful, more integrated, and more supportive of the leadership and the nation in the face of this attack."
